MEMBERSHIP & HOSPITALITY PRICES TO REMAIN SAME FOR NEXT SEASON
Following the recent announcement about the Raiders taking a home game to Wagga Wagga in season 2019, Raiders CEO Don Furner today confirmed that following feedback/discussions with GIO Stadium, event contractors and fulfilment providers, that the Club would keep Membership and Hospitality package prices the same for next season.
Mr. Furner said “We work very hard with the Stadium and its contractors to keep the prices down while still maintaining a quality game day experience for our Members and Hospitality partners in Canberra. We feel that by taking one fixture away in 2019 we have been able to absorb many of the price increases being passed onto us, whilst also rewarding our many fans and members who travel across from the Riverina every second week.”
The Raiders CEO also confirmed that Members would get first opportunity to secure tickets to the regional fixture in Wagga. “Game day attendees don’t fully understand the costs worn by the Club in staging each event, however our Members are our priority to look after, whether based here in Canberra or elsewhere” he added.
Despite one less fixture being held in Canberra in season 2019, the Raiders still boast the ‘best-priced’ membership options across the board of all the major sporting codes that play in the nation’s capital. “In simple terms, after taking out membership pack benefits, an 11 game (full season) general admission member will be asked to pay less than $1 extra per game in season 2019 to watch all fixtures at GIO Stadium Canberra” concluded Furner.
2019 Membership goes on sale from Thursday 13 September 2018.
